Keynote Speakers

Professor Anthony Yeh is full professor at the University of Hong Kong and chair of Urban Planning and Geographic Information Science. He is an expert on Urban Development and planning and is among others experienced in Land Use Planning, Urban Renewal, New Towns and Geographic Information Systems. He has done research extensively on the use of urban models in planning. Moreover, he is chair of the Board of Directors of CUPUM.

Professor Mei-Po Kwan has recently been appointed at the Faculty of Geosciences at Utrecht University. As Professor in Geography and Geographic Information Science she is highly experienced in analyzing social, economic, and environmental issues in urban areas through the development and application of innovative geographic information systems. She is a distinguished expert in her field of research and has received already various major awards.

Professor Harry Timmermans is full professor of Urban Planning at the University of Technology in Eindhoven. He is an expert on Urban modelling and planning. His research concerns the analyses and modelling of consumer response to planning policies and the development of decision support systems. He is also editor of the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.
