Guidelines for registration

Registration Guidelines

  1. All submitted book chapters/papers/posters must be presented at the conference and at least one of its authors is required to register for the conference.
  2. The application to register as author must be received before May 1, 2013.
  3. Maximum two but generally one first author's paper will be accepted in the conference proceedings and program.
  4. The maximum number of oral presentations allowed per registered participant is two. At the time of registration, participants are required to state the number of presentations they intend to deliver.

Online Registration

All participants are kindly requested to register in advance by completing and submitting the Registration Form and by paying the appropriate fees. The Conference Organizer reserves the right to deny registration if the number of participants exceeds the room capacity of the conference or the work/interest of the participant is marginally related to the objectives of the conference. If your registration is denied, the conference will fully refund your paid registration fee, if applicable.

Conference Fee

The early bird registration fee is €360 and only applies to applications submitted before April 22nd, 2013. Author registration and payment should be dealt with by May 1st, 2013. The late registration fee is €400.

In addition, up to five accompanied persons are allowed to join. Each accompanied person is required to pay a €100 fee. This "accompanying person fee" include:

Cancellation of Conference Registration

Registered delegates wishing to cancel their participation at the conference will be entitled to a full registration fee refund, minus an administration fee of 20%, provided written notification is received by the Conference Secretariat before April 1, 2013. Cancellations received after this date will not be considered for a refund. All refunds will be processed after the Conference. Refund date: cancellation up to May 1st, 2013: 20% refund. After May 1st, refunds are no longer possible.

Cancellation of Accommodation Registration

Refunds will depend upon the hotel’s cancellation policy. Please contact them directly for more information.

Conference Publication

All papers published in the conference proceedings will be indexed in both EI Compendex and ISTP. Selected papers from the conference proceedings may be published in a book or special issues of journals.

These were formerly indexed in Ei Engineering Meetings®.
